The story starts back in 2018, when I was a student of Sam Ovens.

Like many coming up through Sam Ovens’ consulting program, I was building my own thing, learning fast, and asking questions publicly.
I was super excited, trying to figure out LinkedIn, so I put a post out to the group asking if anyone would be open to sharing their strategy, and one person stood out: Mitch Gonsalves. Instead of just replying with a couple of tips, he decided to do a full-on webinar walking through his entire process. That’s just who he is.
Two months after the webinar, I reached back out to Mitch, this time with a fully automated system based on his method.

It took off quickly. Within a few months, we were doing six figures a month and working with a lot of high-level clients. Eventually, we even launched a mastermind for the people in our ecosystem — something I’m still really proud of.
And the more I built it, the more it became clear: this wasn’t just a tool for us. This was something every founder dealing with the same chaos needed.
That’s when HQ became Optimate. A name that blends the two things I’ve always chased: optimization and automation.
Later, Mitch went on to pursue his own path, and I’ve continued leading Optimate forward — turning it into the platform I wish we’d had from day one.
